Light Therapy has been reported, as part of a healthy lifestyle, to temporarily reduce swelling, relieve pain, decrease inflammation, accelerate open wound healing and greatly reduce overall recovery after medical/surgical procedures. Patients have demonstrated increased range of motion, decreased muscle tension and spasm, and improved circulation.
Rejuvenating LED light therapy can be used for temporary pain management such as joint and back pain, sore or torn muscles, sprains, arthritis, post-surgical scars, burns, wounds and more. When used with infrared technology, light therapy (phototherapy) is one of the most effective and noninvasive ways to improve overall wellness.
Light therapy is also used to temporarily relieve Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). SAD affects individuals when the lack of sunlight results in seasonal depression. Phototherapy helps with SAD by resetting the internal biological clock (Circadian rhythms), helping individuals sleep better and regulate their mood.
-
Light Therapy is also a growing treatment for anti-aging. Many individuals have seen a temporary reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, and age spots. Combined with infrared therapy, LED phototherapy can be a great way to revitalize skin.
Web M.D says “light therapy is effective at improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest by reducing the signs of aging, wrinkles and age spots.”
More effective than traditional saunas which use flame-stoked heat or steam to create hot air, infrared saunas use infrared light and infrared waves to create high heat that warms your body directly using radiant energy similar to heat produced by the sun.
Our Clearlight infrared full spectrum sauna has the only combination of Carbon/Ceramic far infrared heater that have a high output, 1.000 watts of full spectrum infrared which is 25 times the power of what’s available in the market and also has the lowest EMF/ELF emissions (< 3mG).

Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) are energy waves with frequencies below 300 hertz or cycles per second. The electromagnetic fields we encounter daily come from everyday things such as power lines, radar and microwave towers, television and computer screens, motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, cell phones, electric blankets, house wiring, and hundreds of other common electrical devices.
Levels of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from human-made sources have increased steadily over the past 50-100 years. Most EMF exposures come from increased use of electricity and new technologies. In the past decades, potential adverse effects from EMF exposure on human health have been an important topic of research. In fact, in California, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) created the California Electric and Magnetic Fields Program to research and provide education and technical assistance on the possible health effects of exposure to EMF.
Low ELF (Extremely Low Frequency)
ELF radiation is at the low-energy end of the electromagnetic spectrum and is often referred to as the Electric Fields. The most common ELF field is radiated by utility power lines. You are exposed to these fields whenever you are near electrical appliances of any kind.
The effect of the electric field strength on a person’s body is defined as body voltage strength and is expressed in millivolts (mV). Out in nature, far away from electrical sources, the human body’s natural body voltage is near 0mV. It has been found that when this body voltage rises, in sensitive individuals, it can cause disturbed sleep, irritating sensations and other ailments.
-
Potential health effects from exposure to increased levels of EMF & ELF can include:
Memory Loss, Depression, Loss of Energy, Irritability, Inability To Concentrate, Weakened Immune System, Chronic Fatigue, and Headaches.
Dr. David Carpenter, Dean at the School of Public Health, State University of New York believes it is likely that up to 30% of all childhood cancers come from exposure to EMFs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) warns “There is reason for concern” and advises prudent avoidance”.
Martin Halper, the EPA’s Director of Analysis and Support says “I have never seen a set of epidemiological studies that remotely approached the weight of evidence that we’re seeing with EMFs. Clearly, there is something here.”
Concern over EMFs exploded after Paul Brodeur wrote a series of articles in the New Yorker Magazine in June 1989 called “The Hazards of Electromagnetic Fields”. Because of Paul Brodeur’s reputation, his articles had a catalytic effect on scientists, reporters, and concerned people throughout the world.

The combination of Carbon and Ceramic produces healing infrared heat that is unmatched to any other sauna. While the carbon allows the heater to produce long wave infrared heat that is better absorbed because it penetrates deeper into your body, the ceramic gives a higher and more effective infrared output, when compared to traditional carbon heaters, which can concentrate the heat directly on your body. With the high far infrared output (emissivity) of our sauna heaters, you not only get the highest quality infrared heat, but you get a lot of it, and right where you want it.
INFRARED HEAT AND INFRARED THERAPY
The key to infrared therapy is heating your body directly so you want heat on the front of your body and on the back of your body. One of the keys to sweating and effective detoxification in an infrared sauna is to increase the thermal energy in your body, otherwise you won’t get much benefits. You want to find a sauna that heats both the back and front of your body. Our infrared sauna has heaters on the front wall, back wall, side walls, underneath the bench, next to your calves and under the floor.

The infrared spectrum is comprised of near, mid and far infrared. While the majority of the benefits you receive in our infrared sauna come from the far infrared band, there are added benefits and enhancements by adding all three wavelengths.
The Full Spectrum heaters in our sauna emit about 1/3 near infrared, 1/3 mid infrared and 1/3 far infrared.
The human body sends and receives far infrared waves. The range of Far infrared waves generated by the human body is 6 to 20 microns. The optimal micron output range of an infrared heater is between 6 and 12 microns which is very close to the resonant frequency of a water molecule and the optimum infrared absorption rate of the human body. This similarity makes sense since our bodies are almost 70% water. This range, sometimes called the “Vital Rays”, appears to have specific wellness benefits.
When far infrared waves are applied to water molecules, these molecules begin to vibrate. This vibration reduces the ion bonds and the eventual breakdown of the water molecules which causes encapsulated gasses and other toxic materials to be released.
The result of our infrared sauna heaters design allows for better performance well within this vital wave range of 6 to 12 microns with a good portion of wavelengths at the frequency at which a water molecule resonates or vibrates. This optimal micron output also allows for greater heat generation from far infrared, which as part of a healthy lifestyle may temporarily improve pain relief, detoxification, circulation, and increased peripheral blood flow.

• Near Infrared is the shortest wavelength, and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalization.
Near infrared is associated with photobiomodulation which may produce energy within the cells through ATP stimulation.
• Mid infrared is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation through vasodilation, releasing oxygen to reach injured areas and temporarily elevating heart rate and overall metabolism.
• Far infrared is the longest wavelength which penetrates the fat cells causing vasodilation, where the fat cells vibrate to expel toxins, resulting in the greatest levels of detoxification and stimulate your metabolism to aid in weight-loss.
The sun is the primary source of radiant energy, but not all of this energy is beneficial. Although life needs energy from the sun, too much sunlight damages the skin. Infrared heat provides all the healthy benefits of natural sunlight without any of the dangerous effects of solar radiation.
Our bodies actually give off far infrared wavelengths at about 9.4 microns. Since far infrared wavelengths feel very natural and normal to us, our energy is temporarily enhanced and strengthened.
COLOR LIGHT THERAPY
Also known as Chromotherapy, is a technique of restoring balance by applying color to the body. Light Therapy has been valued throughout history as a remarkable source of healing.
The therapeutic applications of light and color are being investigated in major hospitals and research centers worldwide. Results indicate that full-spectrum, ultraviolet, colored, and laser light can have therapeutic value for a range of conditions from chronic pain and depression to immune disorders.
Chromotherapy is available as part of our infrared sauna experience to help your create an even more relaxing environment.
* Consult with a health care provider before using color therapy for any use.

Color is light split into different wavelengths vibrating at different speeds and at different frequencies.
Objects that ABSORB all wavelengths and DO NOT reflect are black in nature while objects that REFLECT all wavelengths and DO reflect are white in nature. Between black and white lies COLOR. Colors are wavelengths of energy that, to us, appear as color because of the potential and capabilities of the object to either absorb or reflect the energy.
Light therapy uses colors for their proposed wellness abilities in treating emotional and physical disturbances. It’s based on the premise that different colors evoke different responses in people as some colors are considered to be stimulating, whereas others may be soothing.
