DELIBERATE COLD EXPOSURE
Is the practice of submerging the body in freezing water to create metabolic change at cellular level. The cold is your warm friend, efficient and thoughtful exposure initiates a cascade of health benefits.
Cold therapy is shown to:
Improve metabolism, immune response, mood, circulation, focus, clarity and energy.
Help many people to cure autoimmune disorders, diabetes, depression, anxiety, detoxify and also helps with substance abuse and trauma recovery.
Help with insomnia, lymphatic drainage, clear blood glucose, and stimulate ketone production in the liver.
THE EXPERIENCE
The apogee of ice baths, our Morozko Forge is the first ice bath that maintains freezing cold temperatures. Unlike a cold tub, a cold plunge, or a cold shower, Morozko ice baths make their own ice and allows you to practice Deliberate Cold Exposure as cold as 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The water filtration and ozonation ensure that you ALWAYS enjoy crystal-clear cold water.
As you start to submerge your body will go into “fight or flight” mode. Approximately 30-45 seconds after submerging up to the neck your brain will produce norepinephrine and dopamine. Even brief exposure to the cold increases levels of norepinephrine, cortisol and lymphocytes which is intended to help slow down everything in your system.
As you catch your breath you will experience a deep mental focus and intense clarity of vision and thoughts. The blood in your body will go towards protecting your internal organs and you may feel tingling in your extremities and on the surface of your skin. You may also experience aches, cramps and other forms of physical discomfort.

We believe a regular practice has the most benefits. Once per day is ideal, but like working out, even 3-5 times per week can have a beneficial impact on your health.
-
You can achieve ultimate health benefits in 2 minutes. That is the minimum length of time we recommend, and you will notice it is time to get out by your shiver response. We really prefer to keep our plunges under ten minutes, until you are well versed in your own practice.
-
First thing in the morning
Middle of the day
Before bed (at least 90 min.)
-
The Morozko Forge is the only ice bath in the world that make its own ice. Our ice bath is set to 32 degrees which is how we like it!

Ozone for Ice Water - Ozone disinfection is the most powerful and safest water disinfecting agent available because it degrades into pure oxygen without producing harmful byproducts.
Laboratory testing has shown that ozone can kill bacteria and deactivate viruses in seconds and because ozone is made from oxygen, it contains no chlorine or bromine.

POST PLUNGE PRACTICE
Drink lots of water, your body goes through a full lymphatic flush.
Add himalayan or a high quality Sea salt before reaching for an electrolyte drink
Listen to your body, do you need rest or exertion?
It’s ok to eat before or after a plunge, but it’s a lot more satisfying to eat after it.
Taking an ice bath can be an emotional experience. You may start to cry, laugh or experience any other emotional response. No worries, we’re here to offer you support!
